I am new, new, new to soap making. Unfortunatley, I am becoming quickly addicted! I have a question. The soaps that I have made so far have been unscented. Does anyone have any experience with one scent causing allergic reactions over another scent? I have tried others soaps that are scented and notice that the lemon scented soap can make me itch. I want to use the essential oil fragrances, but I don't want to itch from them. Anyone have this experience?

There are many people with allergies out there. What one person is allergic to may not be the same thing you are allergic to. If you have a farmer's market nearby, see if there is a soapmaker there. You could pick up some of her soaps and smell them.
